How much does a website cost?
A one page WordPress website starts at £199. Managed website packages start at £750 with the first year of domain, hosting and management included. Ecommerce, apps and business systems are scoped separately. The price depends on the pages, features, content and integrations agreed.
What is included in a managed website package?
The package identifies its page allowance and features. Domain, hosting, setup and management are included for the first year. Content requirements, optional extras and delivery timing are confirmed for the project.
What will I pay after the first year?
For the managed website packages, the first year is included. After 12 months the care plan renews at £250 per year unless cancelled before renewal. It covers domain, hosting, security, backups, essential updates and support for the managed build. Extra features and ongoing SEO are separate unless included in your agreement.
Is an ecommerce addition the same as a complete online shop?
No. An addition is priced on top of an existing or selected website package. A complete ecommerce project has its own scope covering products, checkout, payments, stock, shipping and any integrations. Compare the complete scope before comparing prices.
Can I ask for a quote without buying online?
Yes. Send the enquiry form with the service you need, your current website if you have one and the result you want. Sam will clarify the scope before a written proposal. Sending an enquiry does not place an order or take payment.
What does a starting price mean?
It is the entry price for an agreed scope, not a price for every feature or every project. Additional pages, content, paid licences, integrations and ongoing services can change the total. Confirm inclusions, exclusions and ongoing costs before agreeing to the work.
Will a new website guarantee leads or first place on Google?
No. Clear content, technical foundations and working enquiry routes support a website, but rankings, AI recommendations and lead volumes cannot be guaranteed. Ongoing SEO is a separate scope where needed.
Can you improve my existing website instead?
Yes. Send the existing URL and explain the problem. Sam can assess whether a focused improvement, maintenance work or a rebuild is the appropriate route. Existing traffic, important URLs and enquiry routes should be checked before changes.
Do I need to be in Preston?
No. Sam is based in Preston and works remotely with businesses across the UK. Project information and feedback can be shared by email, phone and agreed online tools.
